Pear Sweet Nourishing Remedy Soup
Ingredients
- 1 dried pear (or 2 halves)
- 20–25 g sea coconut (sea coconut slices)
- 1–2 tbsp goji berries
- 6–8 cups water
- 1–2 pieces dried tangerine peel (optional, for aroma)
- Rock sugar, to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse ingredients
Rinse the dried pear, sea coconut, and goji berries under cool water.
Soak sea coconut for about 10–15 minutes to soften slightly. - Prepare the pear
If whole, cut the dried pear into large chunks. - Start the soup
Add water to a pot and bring to a boil.
Add dried pear, sea coconut, and optional dried tangerine peel. - Simmer
Reduce to low heat and simmer for about 45–60 minutes until the ingredients are soft and the soup is fragrant. - Add goji berries
Add goji berries in the last 10–15 minutes of cooking to preserve their texture and nutrients. - Sweeten (optional)
Add rock sugar to taste and stir until dissolved. - Serve
Serve warm or slightly cooled. The soup is lightly sweet and soothing.
