Cinnamon Twig Herbal Tea (2 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 6 g Cinnamon Twig
  • 6 g White Peony Root
  • 4–5 slices Fresh Ginger
  • 3–4 Jujube Dates, pitted
  • 4 g Honey-fried Licorice Root
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 3 cups water

Instructions:

  1. Rinse all the herbs lightly under cool water.
  2. Add everything (except honey) into a small pot with 3 cups of water.
  3. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low.
  4. Simmer for 20–25 minutes until the liquid reduces slightly and becomes fragrant.
  5. Strain the tea into cups.
  6. Stir in honey while warm, adjusting sweetness to taste.

Tips:

  • You can lightly press the jujube dates to release more natural sweetness.
  • For a stronger brew, simmer a little longer or reduce water slightly.
  • Best enjoyed warm, especially on cooler days.
