Classic Chinese Digestive Tea with Hawthorn (Servings: 2–3 cups)

Ingredients

  • 12g dried hawthorn berries
  • 8g dried tangerine peel
  • 1 liter water

Instructions

  1. Gently rinse the hawthorn berries and tangerine peel under cool running water.
  2. Add all ingredients to a small pot with 1 liter of fresh water.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a gentle simmer.
  4. Let it simmer for about 10–15 minutes to extract the flavors.
  5. Strain into cups and enjoy warm.

This light, slightly tangy tea is ideal after meals to support digestion.
