Prunella and Chrysanthemum Wellness Tea (2–3 servings)

Ingredients

  • 10g Prunella (Xia Ku Cao)
  • 5g Chrysanthemum (Ju Hua)
  • Honey, to taste
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the Prunella (Xia Ku Cao) and Chrysanthemum (Ju Hua) gently under cool water.
  2. In a pot, add the Prunella to 3 cups of water and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Turn off the heat and add the Chrysanthemum. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes to preserve its delicate aroma.
  5. Strain the tea into a cup.
  6. Add honey to taste while the tea is warm, and stir well before serving.

Effects/Benefits

Prunella (Xia Ku Cao): Traditionally used to help clear internal heat and support eye and liver balance.

Chrysanthemum (Ju Hua): Known for gently cooling the body, supporting eye comfort, and promoting relaxation.
