Warming Cinnamon & Licorice Herbal Tea (2 servings)
Ingredients
- 1 small golden monk fruit (luo han guo), lightly cracked
- 5–6 slices dried licorice root
- 1 small piece dried tangerine peel
- 1 small cinnamon stick (or half a large one)
- 3 cups water
- Rock sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Place the monk fruit, licorice root, cinnamon stick, and dried tangerine peel into a small pot.
- Pour in the water and bring everything to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it gently simmer for about 10–12 minutes.
- Taste the tea, then add rock sugar if desired, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Strain into cups and serve warm.
